Is real money involved?
No. Futr is play-money only. Stakes are arbitrary point values for bragging rights — there are no deposits, withdrawals, payouts, or payments of any kind. Futr does not hold, transfer, or process funds, and is not a bookmaker, casino, or money transmitter.
Then how do bets actually settle?
Inside the app, one participant proposes the winner and the other confirms it. If you disagree, the wager is flagged as disputed — Futr has no authority to adjudicate. Anything you choose to square up happens between you and your friends, entirely outside the app.
Can stakes be uneven?
Yes. Back your call with 20 points against their 10 if you're confident. Futr converts any pair of stakes into true implied odds and displays them in your preferred format — American, decimal, fractional, or percentage.
What can I wager on?
Anything with a clear outcome you both agree on — the game, the call, who finishes first, whether it rains Saturday. You write both sides of the bet, so the only limit is what your crew will agree to.
Do you sell my data or run ads?
No. Futr has no third-party ad or analytics SDKs, requests no advertising identifier, and does nothing for tracking. We collect only what runs the app — your email, profile, and the content you create. You can delete your account, and your data, entirely in-app.
Who is Futr for, and is there an age limit?
Futr is built for friends, crews, and private leagues — friends-only by design, with block and report controls on every user. Because it involves simulated wagering, it's rated 17+ and the Terms require users to be 18 or older.
